Patriots sanitized visiting locker room at Gillette Stadium as well as equipment Bucs used during joint practices to prevent MRSA.

He hasn't been ruled out for Week 1 yet. He's at the facility working and rehabbing so he seems to be progressing well, but details have been scant at this point.

They're not really telling us much, just the same old company line "he's responding well to treatment"....blah, blah, blah. No way of knowing how he is doing as far as when he will be ready to play.

Damn, hope Tynes recovers quickly. If he isn't responding, hopefully that allows the doctors to get a better read on what exactly will help it. I really hope this doesn't affect his life too much let alone his career.

Honestly we were his last chance, he's had a long career. I hope him a speedy recovery but was kind of thrown off when his wife tweeted this...

"I hear my husband is responding "well" to treatment. LOL! He's NOT responding at all yet. This is our #bucslife"

I know the quote she's referencing from Schiano, and he clearly said that he knows about Nicks because he's in house, but doesnt know how Tynes is doing because he's not there

Yeah I read Schiano's quote. Seems like she only read the first part. It's very clear.

I forgot how old he was Laughing

I understand this lady is going through a tough time and I give all my support to her and her husband, but she needs to lay off the twitter for awhile. The Bucs were telling them something that they already knew, of course he's going to be placed on NFI. Plus, this is a crazy week for the organization, they've got to determine 75 other people's futures. I'm sure the Bucs care deeply for Lawrence right now, but the season isn't going to stop and wait on the Bucs, they have to move on.

I understand why she's upset, but like I said in another thread, she's coming across as trashy at this point. We're paying the man, which is something people on the NFI list don't get, so I'm not sure where she gets off doing all this. If I were MD I'd call up Tynes and say the paychecks aren't gonna come unless she lays off the tweet button.

So we pay the man when we're under no obligation to do so, but we lack class? There is no evidence to suggest that the staph infection came from our facility (though it is likely). Our cleaning our facility is merely a precaution to prevent this happening to anyone else- something which the Pats have also done. It is also the right thing to do. MRSA can be picked up anywhere.

Besides, what did she expect? From what I understand they're not even in Tampa. Brandon Jacobs tweeted that it's more to do with the post career stuff. Surely the Bucs will deal with that. Just not on perhaps the busiest day of the year.

In this case, social media is not helping the situation, particularly Tynes possible future career. It's just time for her to lay off twitter. Read an interesting article on what possibly is going on with Tynes' situation.
