With all of our depth at LB and the fact that we're thin on the DL I'm assuming we'll see a lot of 3-4 looks this season. I think Thomas has a chance to be a steal for us.

^^ Why would he be a steal? He couldn't make the cut in NO. Raiders LBs are pretty deep right now.

Worth a go to claim him, and I think the shout about 3-4 looks is right. DL is a weakness, LBer is a relative strength.

He touched Dennis Allen's seat before the game.

In my opinion they are a joke. In the last ten years there drafts sucked.

I think he has a chance to be a player in the NFL. His speed is a bit of a concern but he's a football player that put up production at the highest level of college football in a defense that is very similar to the one we'll be running. I'm not saying he's a future star but I think he has a chance to be a rotational linebacker/special teams ace.

NCOUGHMAN is pitching a tent over this.

I think he even said Thomas was better than Dion Jordan.

He didn't play in the Raiders game, and was constantly getting beat, and outran in the Chiefs game against 3rd stringers. Dude is slow as molasses, I wish him the best with you though.

I disagree. Guys is too slow for the NFL. He looked pretty awful for the Saints and went undrafted despite his production for a reason. Good college player. Too slow for this level.
