Receiving yards still count in non PPR leagues. With a historically bad defense in New Orleans, Sproles figures to see plenty of action.

In his two years as a Saint, Sproles has averaged over 1100 yards and 8 TDs per year. In two years with Cam Newton at QB, D-Williams has averaged just over 900 yards per year and 7 touchdowns.

They seam to have very similar floors, but Sproles has a much higher ceiling, being just one year removed from 1300+ rec/running yards -9TD season.
Sproles had a 400 yard drop off from his firstr year, and now that they atleast have said they are going to finally give Mark Ingram some run it is going to once again cut into Sproles production. While on the other hand Williams is loosing the biggest threat to his carries (other than Goal Line) and he has proven when given the chance to be "the guy" that he can be a Fantasy Superstar. Combined last year DW & JS were approaching 1100 yards, give those carries to Williams, even with suspect Goal line duties, He has a much better chance to be a reliable option in a Non-PPR format.

Every year we hear stories about which New Orleans running back will receive the lion's share. Every year, it ends as a committee of sorts, with Sproles receiving a small percentage of their carries. That's been the situation in both of his years on that team. I can't reasonably expect his production to dip because of it.

I agree that he is unlikely to reach his 2011 production this year, but it still remains as his ceiling. Whatever goal line carries that were given to J-Stew last year, will likely be given to Tolbert all the same. Time will tell though, and it is a very reasonable debate in the end.

Well it's another week and another fantasy situation I need advice on..

As we all know now, Vick Ballard is out for the year.. Giving Bradshaw the RB duties.. Do you start him? MJD? Or both and take Owen Daniels off of your flex? I'm in a PPR

Did you end up making that trade? Would have been pretty timely. Laughing

I'm no fantasy expert, but RBs seem to always make better flex options, especially when they are going to be taking the bulk of the carries.

Trade didn't happen. So far I've had Vereen, Amendola, Jacoby Jones and Ballard all go down.

To be honest, you can do better than Jacoby Jones or Vick Ballard. They are non-factors.

Unless a PPR league, if PPR I find that Slot receivers such as Welker, Edelman, Tavon are great choices as well.. Almost a lock for 10+ pts even if they only get 40-50 yds.

Slim. I'm betting on your scoring you'd need four sacks three turnovers and a TD.

Two of my three leagues are done 1-1 in those. Last game I need AJ to outscore Antonio Brown by .3 points.
