Never mind. That was Dwan
Sorry about the last post - I easily confuse Laughing - Short does look fat, but he is great when he finishes plays (has consistency with effort issues, it seems).

Oh for sure. Our front 7 is gonna be great. If we could have kept Gamble for cheap and kept him from retiring then man we would be solid all around

Oh Lafell...

Also, fantasy question. After seeing our D play this preseason, would you give them a flier in the last rounds?

I know we haven't really dipped into our offense, but that doesn't change the incompetence that is our offensive line

Not sure why Moore hasn't played more real snaps. Seems to be doing well every time I notice him.

I came out of this game optimistic and pessimistic. Our d looks improved and while our cbs will get burned and give up plays they can also make plays. Short and Star and making me believers. And keek is beastly. the D has me optimistic.
on the other hand our O looks atrocious. Cam looks inaccurate and our run O looks pathetic. O line couldn't block and running backs made no plays. It was terrible. Hopefully they just kept it vanilla and are keeping the O surprises for the regular season.
If the O matches what the D looked like tonight( and if tonights D is the real D) we have a shot at the playoffs.
If todays O is the O of the year Rivera is gone and Cam is learning a new system.

great game by the D. unfortunately this game has me down on our season. i'm gonna predict 8-8. i know we don't game plan but there's no way shula is letting the offense completely crap out just to keep our offense under wraps until week one. if so that's incredibly stupid. the offense has no confidence especially the o line. they will struggle all year and i wouldn't be surprised if cam missed some games. must get some of that money out of the backfield and into the line. maybe we can pick up some late cuts to plug in but the whole right side of the line is abysmal

travelle wharton and geoff hangartner can always still be brought back...

there's also jason smith who just got cut by the saints.

34 points without an offensive touchdown!

Young DTs look like they're starting to figure some things out, which was great. A lot of soft zone, but I'm not going to put a ton of stock into that because it's preseason without a lot of gameplanning or complex calls (still, I'm not real excited about it - would be nice to have at least one guy step up on the back end).

But good lord, the OLine looks terrible. Again, still preseason, but holy hell. Run game is going to be rough all year if people can't figure out how to block consistently.

Lafell was disappointing last night.

Our linebackers are ridiculous.

Glad to see that the attention to special teams has maybe paid off a bit.

Still preseason, so take it for what it's worth. But that's how I feel coming out of the game last night.
