Do we really keep three guys who offer very little in pass rush?

Considering the problems we've had stopping the run (mostly AD last year) and having someone to take some snaps off of Raji, I'd say yes.

This.

Well, we've always been two deep at NT, so Pickett and Jolly/Miller are virtual locks to make the roster, IMO. Without knowing how Jerel Worthy is going to play like in 2013, I'd say all three have to make the roster.

With as little as we play three man fronts it doesn't make much sense to me but I think it's likely. I keep Boyd over Wilson if he shows anything (which I think he has) based almost solely on not expecting all the DLs to be be active and having him under contract for four years. Semi-stashing him away for the future.

Boyd on the cheap is a better bet than Wilson IMO.

I'd argue Jordy is probably around the 30th-40th best receiver in the NFL, maybe 50th.

CJ Wilson doesn't get enough love around here. There's a reason he's getting the reps he's getting in these preseason games.

And started 15 games last season.

It's a "3rd down" league though in my opinion and there's seven (eight with Worthy) guys on the roster I'd rather have on the field in that situation.

But that doesn't mean it's a 3rd down-only league, you know? Still need that guy. If Worthy can prove he's improved since last season, Wilson could lose his spot when he comes off of PUP.

It's not a 3rd- down league if the team picks up the first down after second down. Need to win 1st and 2nd before 3rd down ever happens.

I get what you are saying, that is why I think this position will be the toughest to make cuts at. Cases to be made for all those involved.

But my point is do you need THREE of that guy? Pickett and Jolly are "that guy" as well.

Edit: Personally I'd cut Pickett and let Wilson and Jolly be that guy for about 1/4 the price but nobody is going to agree with that and it's not going to happen.

Just remember that the laws of supply and demand will ALWAYS come into play when tough cuts need to be made. I'm a Wilson guy and would hate to see him cut. That said, it's much easier to find a Wilson mid season than it is a Pickett or a Neal.

Is he fat enough to play nose tackle?

He's listed there on the DC.

He's only listed at a buck- ninety- three on the Cardinals depth chart. It says he's 6'3" though, so all he has to do is bulk up and hit the gym.

TT probably knows what he is doing though. If he wants Miller, I want Miller.

EDIT: Is that guy named after Carroll Shelby? Why else would you name a kid Shelby? Sounds like a horse or sheep dog....
