I'm still on board for a college coach. Someone with fresh ideas and innovative schemes.

I'd rather go for something special than play it safe with a retread.

I wonder if, when Schiano is fired, he takes over.

Greg Roman might be a good fit for you and he at least has spent some time in the NFL.

Thats the speculation I've seen on some TB sites if it happens mid-season. Would think they'd go outside the organization in the offseason though.

Another example why coaching is so important in this league.

Just look at the Bears defense this year. Last year, most feared, this year, pretty inconsistent and they lost the abbility to tackle.

Now that guy would be a good assistant to go after. He can get some points on the board. But who would keep the other team's points off the board?

So after last night game, I was thinking, which is always dangerous, but Frazier has completely lost the team at this point, so what's the point of keeping him around right now? But whom from inside the team could be promoted to head coach, not Williams, not Musgrave, the only coordinator I thought could be promoted is Mike Priefer. Now Priefer is the special teams coach, but he has done a good job at that, and I realize half our defense is only special teams caliber, so we have a deep pool for him to pick from, but he's an actual option to be an interim coach the rest of the year, especially since there has been previous off season talk about him getting interviews before. So promote him and see what he can do, and then pick an offensive and defensive position coach and promote them and see what they can do. At this point there is no reason to keep Musgrave or Williams around (as well as no reason for Frazier to be around), so we might as well let a couple of other coaches get their feet wet, maybe something will stick.

Mike Tice. I know most of you disagree, but those teams had about half the talent of this team......

And, I miss the glory days of Brad Childress right now, and for anyone that has been here for awhile, you know how I feel about Chilly......

I liked Tice too. Did twice as much with half the talent and the staff.

Wow. I thought Harry Reems was dead. I had no idea he was coaching special teams in Tampa.

I wouldn't mind Tice as I've stated earlier I think he did very well with the talent and coaches he had. I think if he had all the resources from the new ownership he could become a damn good coach.

Trust me, you do not want Dave Wannstedt as your head coach.
