I don't see us running with 6 WRs.

Didn't say we had to. I meant to make it over Stills, Toon, or Parker.

See my edited post.

The only one who doesn't have a roster spot locked is Parker, but he's our best returner and would be a tough cut.

Had no impact on the play, but Ramon Humber just threw the WR blocking him. Laughing

Liked the block blow up and keeping the edge by shipman. Pursuit just didn't get there.

Common theme with Ramon Humber. He looks good against stiffs. He looked putrid against Houstons first string offense, he's not a starter.

He very well could be. Sproles has only scored once on a kick/punt return in his time here. Parker has had a few nice returns. Sproles gets a lot of yards because he takes so many kicks out, but he rarely makes it past the 20. He's not the returner he used to be.

Not to mention, it's pretty obvious Payton doesn't want Sproles to be our return guy. He had Cadet frequently replacing him last year (he returned 26 kickoffs) and this preseason he's been trying LOTS of people in the return game. Has Sproles taken any returns? Maybe once, but I don't know for sure.

Parker vs Sproles is a meaningless argument, because it's quite clear that Payton doesn't want Sproles returning much. In the middle of the season last year he completely pulled him from kickoff returns and gave those duties to Cadet.

Payton didn't put Cadet in on returns. Vitt did. But I do agree. I think it has to do with injury. Sproles is getting older and they don't want him to get hurt returning a kick and we loose him for the offense.
