Man we suck. Sucked since Barrett Robbins went missing in Mexio

Barron and Guroade should be security guards but they might be starters for us 0.O... I'm not really a Matt Flynn supporter but poor guy doesn't stand a chance with that line. He will be lucky to survive to week 8. Bergstorm Reggie's first pick might I add, we sure could use him. Barnes has been a fringe starter for years but he is somehow one of our better offensive lineman. Who's idea was it to move a great left side of Wiz and Valdheer who opened holes for D-Mac to center. Wiz is an average center at the point, after seeing him as a great guard. Valdheer is great hurry and get back. Classy, smart, produces Reggie needs to lock him up. Mady an undrafted free agent looked lousy. Alex Parsons as I knew, is a fodder. Don't know how he made last years team. We need to use more picks on the trenches. The case is out on Hayden but star or Shariff Floyd would have been great. That's a different story

Projecting our 9 lineman this year
LT: Valdheer, Barron
LG: Nix, Bergstorm
C: Wiz, Guroade
RG: Brisel
RT: Barnes, Watson

At some point we need just start Watson and Nix and see what they got. Brisel is below average but Gurode is horrible at guard. What could we do to fix this unit.. 0.o

Eric Allen, you love starting new threads on O-lineman bro. I wish I started threads like you do, that takes heart.

Respect.....

& Yes, our O-line is a fail. This just shows how valuable & great JV really is. He's an anchor.

Look for better guys after final cuts, make Reece block more, start Gordon at TE, and wait for JV to come back...

Sounds like what they'll probably do.

Oh well, who wanted to see an open offense anyways. Max Protect FTW!

Until McFadden gets injured, then I have no idea what our offense is gonna do...

The fact that we'll very likely have to frequently keep two extra players in pass protection until Veldheer gets back is so lame. Combined with the fact that our receiving core is average at best and Flynn can only operate in the short passing game and it is going to be a very long season for our offense.

Just imagine, like every year, if DMC, Ford, and Moore get injured and probably Flynn at some point behind this awful O-line...

QB: Terrelle Pryor
RB: Rashad Jennings/ Latavius Murray
FB: Marcel Reece
WR: Rod Streater
WR: Brice Butler
LT: Alex Barron
LG: Troy Bergstrom
C: Stefan Wiszniewski
RG: Lucas Nix
RT: Khalif Barnes

Shocked Possibly least talented starting lineup ever? Can you guys imagine if before JV comes back that this is our starting offense for a game or more?

We could seriously be legendary bad on offense this year...

Didn't you already post this?

The staff already knows what Nix has and that's why he has worked his way up the roster from UDFA.

Watson is out. People keep acting like the staff is holding him back for some unknown reason.

Imo, Floyd would not have been great but we tend to hold on to whoever the media tells us the Raiders are taking. (ie Bruce Campbell people were mad the Raiders didn't draft him in the 1st)

Wiz was not great at OG he was very average at best. He won a popularity contest for Pepsi rookie of the week not a real evaluation. We've covered this countless times. Imo, Wiz 2.0 isn't a great OL period but he is an upgrade over Satele in a PBS. Let's move on already about moving him back to OG.

The one thing I can't understand is why Brisiel has a strangle hold on RG? I have been supporting Nix since forever but he is a RG. I do think Barnes at RG could be productive and a way for him to stick.

I think the Raiders need another year of high draft picks on the OL before even looking at a QB but the Raiders have to start nailing some of these picks.
