Missing the game, just saw the stats on NFL.com....

Can anyone sum it up for me?

Starks struggled mightily in pass pro, got Rivers killed. Fluker had some bad pass pro but he straight mauled in the run game. Clary sucks.

Mathews was an absolute bull. Very very strong runner

The pick was pretty BS... Allen got tripped up and couldn't get there. The first strong defense can bring the pass rush though. Wright had a tough play on the MArshall TD. Butler looked like a safety on his pick. Moved so smooth and covered Marshall.

Some people on twitter were blaming Rivers for that pick. I am starting to wonder if people actually are watching the same game as me. Laughing

There's a guy on Bolttalk trying to defend the position that Meachem is the best/most talent receiver on the team. Even better that he does so while ragging on Allen for inability to separate and for being "responsible for interceptions".

Laughing

It is remarkable how we all can watch the game and coming away with different impressions.

There are some guys who should be cut right away....I have seen enough.

-Goodman-I have never seen a ST player with such a low IQ....so many damn mistakes

-Starks-He is done, and there is no LT combination....Dunlap is clearly better.

-Clary-you have been in the league how long and you still have poor form?

I got a text from one of my friends who coaches the OL for Crespi High School... I didn't even have to prompt him.

It read: "I know what you probably just screamed at your TV. What's the one thing linemen are told to do under no circumstances? Put their head down!"

What did Clary do on that sack they've replayed several times? put his head down and tried to Superman himself at the DT.

Yeah, Clary is awful. I was being naive hoping that the move to guard would cover up some deficiencies, but all these are mental mistakes.....which have little to do with physical talent.

How can anybody say Meachem is the most talented? There's talk that he's completely broken down

A person familiar with Robert Meachem's situation told the Union-Tribune San Diego that Meachem's body has "broken down" and isn't what it once was.
Meachem is only 28 years old. He battled a hamstring injury for a brief period last year and had a knee scope in the 2012 offseason, but otherwise he's stayed off the shelf in recent seasons. Columnist Kevin Acee says Meachem can no longer separate, runs bad routes, has unreliable hands, and "has no business being on the field." Acee believes the Chargers should cut Meachem.

You don't even need inside reports, just watch the man play. He has no burst, gets no separation, and can't catch.

The only WR he is better then on this team is Goodman......

I was really disappointed when they picked Sorenson. He's making me wrong.

I've only been watching since the end of the 3rd, and Hill has dropped 3 already. Not a good way to make the team.

Fozzy was gone by the time I stared watching. It's good to hear he did something. He ran hard last week, but that was about the only positive thing you could say.

How did the 2nd string interior OL look? I only focused on Starks and Harris - no surprises there.

At least Clary works hard. He's better then Fonoti at something but he doesn't deserve a spot on this roster. Starks doesn't either and I really don't want Harris/Dombrowski to be our only option at tackle if we get a guy dinged up.

Offensive line is still a huge need next year but we have to also help either our pass rush or defensive backs. You guys know I'd always prefer the pass rusher but right now next years group isnt spectacular unless we really tank.

I am still surprised TT didn't sign Justice. He had a decent year last year in terms of pass protection.

I wouldn't be to pissed off with a line-up like this.

LT-Dunlap
LG-Rinehart
C-Hardwick
RG-Fluker
RT-Justice

Don't be surprised if none of those guys are on the roster by week 1. I have a feeling they'll be picking up scraps after final cuts.

This sounds familiar, like we've been saying it for the last 5-6 years.

Ingram will be back later, so that will be a big help. The interior guys are all penetrators, which helps with the rush a lot. They ail need at least one more that can come off of the edge though.

I'm not sold on Wright. I think they'll have to replace him next year. Not sure about Patrick and Williams yet.
