I wonder what is an official website for (redskins.com) if it does not announce such news first.

Because they'll announce it when they do all of them.

According to csnwashington.com, LB Sturdivant, K Potter and LB Elmore have been released, and the lockers of LB Muckelroy, OT Trueblood and WR Reeves in the locker room have been cleared out.

PR and promoting?

CSN Washington's job is reporting. So, they are going to put a guy out in front of Redskins Park and ask how things are.

Waived:
Arrow LB Ricky Elmore
Arrow FB Eric Kettani
Arrow K John Potter
Arrow WR Chip Reeves
Arrow LB Quan Sturdivant

Contract Terminated:
Arrow WR Donte Stallworth

Waived with injury designation:
Arrow CB Richard Crawford
Arrow LB Jeremy Kimbrough

Placed on IR:
Arrow LB Keenan Robinson
Arrow S Phillip Thomas

Five more to go before we're at 75. Any guesses as to who will visit the Turk before 4PM tomorrow?

As to difference between Robinson/Thomas and Crawford/Kimbrough, I think it's based on when they got hurt and when they stopped playing. In Crawford and Kimbrough's case, it was right before the first cut deadline (as a way to prevent teams from stashing players they want to keep). As such, they are exposed to the waiver process. With Robinson and Thomas, they've been out for awhile so they go straight to IR. Donte Stallworth is a vested veteran and isn't subject to the waiver process anymore so he can go sign with whomever he likes.

After taking a glance at our current roster, I'll say the next 5 cut are:
DE Dominique Hamilton
TE Emmanuel Ogubuehi
S Jose Gumbs
G Jacolby Ashworth
ILB Marvin Burdette

Ogu was apparently told he's made it through the first round of cuts so I doubt it'd be him.

Actually,, the waived, injured process is just a monetary thing. They can now offer less ( provided they clear waivers -- If claimed the claiming team has to pay full salary ) than they were making for the regular season.. Kinda harsh treatment -- doncha think ..?

Today on the Holden and Danny show they had basically limited the roster to the final 4 people.

The final 4 they were discussing were the 4 we've been discussin as well.

For me the final 4 are:

1. Tony Pashos
2. Evan Royster
3. Jordan Pugh
4. Dezmon Briscoe

I think Briscoe makes it because we don't want to see him playing on an opposing team and we think he can have a future with the team. We also feel all of our undrafted Wrs we can put on the practice squad without some own else claiming them.

I expect the final two to be Pugh and Royster, or Royster and Pashos.

I see no reason to keep Brisoce.

The team has kept 6-7 WRs every year under Shanahan.

And I'd rather keep Lewis or Williams over Briscoe. He hasn't done anything for us so either he's not that good or he doesn't fit our scheme; either way he doesn't fit here.
