I took some time to do one final mock draft before the season starts and things begin to change, so I sat down and looked at every match-up of every week in the season and made my predictions. Some records may surprise you and some are right in line with most predictions - either way, the season is not 100% predictable so don't hate too hard if you don't like where your team is picking. They are my predictions and I'll stand by them.

I then created the draft order, decided which prospects I think will stay in school and which will declare, then went through the order and drafted as if I was the GM in each team's war room and wanted what was best for my organization.

Titans in the playoffs? Shocked That's bold. As far as the pick, I'm kind of iffy on it. Both Roos and Stewart are under contract until 2015. I'd like to pickup a OT in the mid-rounds for development but not this high. It sucks Nix was taken one pick right in front of us because him and Casey would make a beastly duo. If we're that good, and Locker looks like a franchise QB, I'd honestly think of trading our whole draft and maybe a 2nd from next year up to #2 for Clowney Laughing If we stay put, I'd go with Shazier, Jernigan, Jones, or maybe Johnson. MLB seems to be a weak spot considering McCarthy can't stay healthy and I've always wanted to upgrade the other DT spot beside Casey. They have good rotation guys in Mike Martin, Karl Klug, and Hill but I don't think they're starter material.

Is there a reason you left the AFCN standings out?

I love it...

Very Happy

Don't see us finishing 2-14 though, think a good coaching staff and mjd returning give us a couple more wins than that.

Very meh. Would suck to see Roby and Matthews to go right in front of us, and while I like Mosley I just don't think we value the 3rd LB spot too much (since we play nickel so often). I think Sammy Watkins would be a better fit.

Couple things:

- I added the AFC North W/L records, just a miss and forgot to include them initially.

- Titansfan, I think the Titans could really surprise this year and it will all start with a very strong offensive line and the running game which will see CJ2K have another career-type year, Shonn Greene be a contributor, and Locker being one of the better runners in the league. They have the pieces, just need to find a team identity IMO. If they succeed by adding to the offensive line this offseason, that would motivate them to add a plyer like Hurst to mantain that identity and secure the future with a very safe, quality player.

- Carolina could easily pass on Lee to get Jordan Gross' replacement. They don't seem to value the WR position very much and a solid LT is key to Cam's development.

- Same goes for Detroit. Mosley is an outstanding talent that would be hard to find elsewhere. They already have Megatron and can pick up a #2 WR later in the draft or via FA of Broyles/Patrick Edwards don't show long term promise.

Atlanta got RIPPED on that trade. We also have a bunch of young DEs. Give us a DT or an OL.

I think Atlanta is in "win now" mode big time. Their talent nucleus is on the wrong side of 30 for sure. Matty Ice and Julio are nice building blocks but you guys still lack a dangerous pass rushing threat and your 29th ranking (IIRC) in sacks last year is a major concern. Not a fan of the DEs you drafted as pass rushers - goodman and maponga are both stronger against the run IMO. I see you guys trading back, getting a top pass rushing prospect and accumulating more young depth as your older players get phased out.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if we take a DE next year, but why would a team in win now move back in the draft? Wouldn't they move up to land more impact players.

I dont want to give up that much to move up one spot, especially with a division rival. Clowney would be unreal in Oakland though, but I would hope SD passes on him to FINALLY address the oline.

I mean they are looking to win now in 2014. If they don't, age and roster attrition will take a toll forcing them to go for more picks instead of higher picks. DE, DT, G/OT, WR, TE could all be satisfied in rounds 2-4 of that deal if the falcons took it. How do you like the sound of that?

Could hypothetically go Kareem Martin (DE - UNC), DeAndre Coleman (DT - Cal), Zack Martin (G/OT - ND), Arthur Lynch (TE - UGA), and Ryan Grant (WR - Tulane) in rounds 2-4. I would be ecstatic with that draft class.
