I'm open to it, I just don't really get the benefit of them. What's the point of having them?

You don't have to use a roster slot on a player who's out for the year. You can put that player on IR and fill his roster slot with someone else. The IR'd player remains yours, it just opens up your roster so you're not shorthanded.

Alright I'm for it. What's the standard amount of spots used?

Usually 2 IR slots for a league with this many roster slots.

Also--when did we change the FLEX to a WR/TE position? I don't remember hearing about that...

Don't you think 2 IR spots to go along with the 14 keeper spots is a little to much. I mean that is 21 spots per team in the league that is a lot, if you want to keep some one that is injured the 14 spots should be enough.

Also, I continue to look to improve at the QB position.

Injuries happen--if I've got McCoy, CJ2K, David Wilson, and all three go down with injuries, and my only other rostered back is Isaiah Pead, I shouldn't have to drop one of them, make a trade, or drop another position player just to fill my starting lineup.

I just looked into changing roster settings and it's telling me I can't switch roster settings once the draft is complete, which doesn't make sense since I had to do that to change max position values. So that includes IR and that flex spot.

The flex spot is odd, I don't recall ever making that change, especially given how uncommon that one is.

That's kinda lame. I wouldn't want you to have to re-enter the whole draft though. The FLEX is irritating, but it probably took you some time to enter the results.

I'm so glad I have Julius Thomas sitting on my bench tonight.

Hmm.... let me see if I can find a WR on my roster that isn't injured, to take Cobb's place in his bye week....

Yeah the scoring only mentions passing yards and TDs, nothing specific to RBs or QBs. I would think you would get those points.
