Geathers is getting some real push. He's put a couple people on their back already. It's encouraging.

First game of the preseason... and Norv and AJ did make a habit of holding onto guys who served next to no purpose except for S/T after the whole Steve Crosby debacle.

We need to see some Jerideau at NT, and Tasker at WR.

Sorensen outside of the botched snap has looked like a more valuable option at #2

He has so much more zip on the ball plus he looked pretty good at feeling the pressure and avoiding it. Obviously only 1 game but I could definitely see this kid being the #2 in not too long.

I hope we get to see Sorenson run with the twos next week......if he does well, we can cut Charlie loose.

Yup.

Folks on the .com forum are freaking out about that. The 1's and 2's looked fine for the most, expect the 2nd team offensive line.

Yeah our lack of depth is a bit worrying, especially on the offensive line. Other than Molk, there's not a backup lineman who can even be considered competent (maybe Dombo if he wasn't injured all the time).

I liked what I saw from the offense, but the biggest takeaway was the pass rush. Freeney (and even English!) had some nice pressure. I also thought Steve Williams looked pretty good. He'll definitely be seeing the field this year in those dime packages.

The middle of the line actually started playing well after they settled down. Molk is going to be good when he takes over for Hardwick. Troutman got into a groove after a couple stupid penalties, and grabbing everything that was near him. Dombro was solid, but looked a little slower than he was pre injury. Shilling has some good moments too. I think they're gonna be ok.

The OT's are a different story. Starks will be this year's Mario Henderson, and not make the final 53. Harris showed no improvement at all. Becton looked like Harris. They're going to have to make a move for somebody.

Clary at OG is much better than him at OT, but it's still a waste of a roster spot. Had they not been sliding Hardwick over to help him on every play, it would have been a complete disaster. If McCoy is really going to put the best on the field, Clary is gone.

Isn't Winston Justice still out there?

I mean he is not great, but he is bound to have more movement then Starks and Harris.
