DeMarcus Love doesn't either. Is he our swing tackle after his suspension is lifted?

By my count, we have 58 on the roster..

Christian Ballard
Greg Childs
Seth Olsen
Jerome Felton
DeMarcus Love

... don't count against it, and just under $4M in cap space.

Agreed, I fail to see a reason. Waste of a roster spot that could go towards an extra CB.

Glad Chase Baker is getting a shot, he looked good in the preseason.

Exactly, like Felder. I was getting excited about him.

It's always good to keep a developmental Qb if you can, they're valuable trade bait if they ever figure it out. Not that I'm in love with MBT, but we didn't cut anyone I'm in love with either.

There is nothing developmental about MBT though. He has always been a backup and someone who likely has no starting potential. You let those guys go to the practice squad and get the scout team reps, not take away a roster spot from another player who could actually contribute.

If MN had a worthy QB for the third spot, id agree in keeping a developmental guy. But MBT isnt that guy.

Hoping MBT gets cut in favor of Felton.

I wonder if either MBT or Line get cut when Felton comes back.

MBT would make the most sense to let go.

Chase Baker as well, especially if Ballard decides to return. If Ballard returns, 6 DTs is too many.

8 Linebackers is too many as well they could probably let go of Cole afer the first wave and maybe sneak him onto the PS.

He's got the physical attributes to be a starting QB, including a top end arm. He probably won't amount to anything, but the same can be said about the players we cut.

Seattle waived two players I was pretty high on from the 2012 draft: S Winston Guy and DT Jaye Howard.

They also waived 4th rd pick Chris Harper. I wonder if MN follows suit and waives Gerald Hodges. Hodges probably doesnt deserve to make the team at this point and 8 Linebackers is one too many.

DT Clinton McDonald was also released by Seattle, he has been a solid rotational DT for them.
