Connor was the better FB no doubt. But what I think won Charles the roster spot over Connor was his special teams ability. Still I would have kept Connor instead, and I'm a big fan of Charles...

Yea, I heard the head coach mention that. It sounds pretty vague, though. What exactly are we referring to? Special teams blocking? Tackling?

I can understand why Connor was pissed. You bring a guy in to compete for a spot. You prove to be the better guy at the position. All the players and coaches know this. Yet you still cut him for what basically amounts to potential or "ceiling." Yea, i'd be pissed too. All guys want in his position is a fair opportunity.

Is Chris pressley still in the picture? Maybe they want to give Charles a chance knowing that they have a fallback at fullback after week 6.

That could very well be an option. If Charles was released he would be picked up instantly
