Loved what Zimmer said to Still. Still has the talent to be a beast and I'm not sure why he hasn't taken over the other DT spot yet.

He is more of a pass rusher behind Geno rather than a NT like Peko and Thompson

But he can be much more than that.

Devon Still so far has shown he can get upfield and apply pressure. But when he gets doubled he gives up his position to easily. Allows QBs to step up or holes to open up in the running game.

Peko is a good compliment to Geno, which is why he's starting with him. Although Thompson flashed pretty well in the Dallas game. I would say after Geno that Thompson has actually looked the best. But he's facing 2nd and 3rd stringers whereas Still and Peko have been playing against 1st and 2nd stringers primarily...

Agreed. Thompson was really impressive against Dallas. He definitely made a mark that he could be a good player.

As for Peko, he has leadership and he is a class act. Which is exactly what these young guys on the D-Line need. An experienced veteran can be underrated.

I was kind of shocked at how Otis Hudson was cut. Pretty awkward way to do things.

I'm a little disappointed they haven't featured Kirkpatrick whatsoever. He's got a lot to prove after a disappointing rookie season. I figured they'd address this at least once this series since he was last year's 1st rd pick.

Feel so bad for John Conner.

Why dont you guys just use Orson in an H-Back role and Conner at FB?

Hard Knocks was great this year, and it didn't seem like it distracted the team much at all. My only regret is that Taylor "Doofus" Mays didn't get cut.

Taylor Mays may be one of the few even Zimmer can't coach up.

Did John Connor really have a chance to win the job? Seems like the coaches pet project had the inside track from the beginning.
