If Bailey and Howard/Hill continue to play like they do now during the season, the only main concern on the entire team would be OG. SLB is also a minimal concern, but there's a lot of talented guys at that spot including Irvin, Morgan, Smith, Schofield, so I'm not really that worried. Obviously a lot to ask for with some pre-season standouts.

Finally watched the game.

It was pretty dreadful, but expected since its the 1st game.

Alvin Bailey looked really good. Stonewalled just about everyone. Is he starting material... eh, probably not. But he at worst will be a excellent depth piece.

Christine Looked nice. Alot of explosion. Nice COP from Shawn and Turbs.

Jaye Howard had a nice game. Hill had some nice play as well.

Mayowa... well eh. His best plays came from coverage. Didnt really make much noise himself. I think the buzz on this board was way over blown.

Lotu looked ok. Could force Farwell out.

Lane v Maxwell will be interesting. Not sure if we can keep both.

I think the buzz was from having someone that's able to finish. Something we have lacked outside of Clemons, despite having a lot of good coverage over the past 2 seasons. Both he and schofield showed the ability to get there on coverage sacks and at least bother the quarterback. If Irvin/Abril/Bennett can provide the same kind of pressure it's going to be a big boost to the defense this season.
