I told him if he did to me what he did with Steven, I would have hit him with a 2x4. Steven should have got him in his sleep last night.
Gotta love Marvin Lewis.

Okay so we release Clabo to clear up some cap space, and we don't even sign anyone. Now Johnson gets hurt and Holmes, the next guy in line throws up before he goes out w/ the first team. I still wish we would sign Seymour our DL needs help IMO.

I'm pretty sure TD has publicly stated that the extra cap space was created for emergencies (ironically enough one occurs at the position he cut) not to sign Seymour. Sorry I don't have the source, but I think it was either on the Atlanta website or NFL.com.

There's still plenty of time left to figured out the RT spot. No need to worry. Camp has only just started.

I posted the link in the Richard Seymour thread.

All I have read is that he's great at coverage. The best LB in coverage we got.

Thats exactly what he said. Now he will probably wait a little bit. You have to remember that all 32 teams are carrying 90 players at the moment, and the FA market isnt littered with good OTs. I expect us to make a move in a couple of weeks. Even if Holmes steps up at impresses at RT, we cant have a UDFA as the primary backup to both Baker and Holmes.

Yeah, I bet someone decent enough somewhere doesn't make the final roster on their team. Let TD swoop in and take that guy.

Love to see us bring in Seymour or Gaither. Assuming Holmes doesn't play well enough.

Reports that we're set to sign OT Jeff Nady?

Via Twitter (@AJCFalcons)

#Falcons are set to sign Offensive Tackle Jeff Nady. He's 6-6, 303 from Nevada. He has spent time with the Jaguars.
