Kinda makes me think the Panthers would cut him if he didn't restructure... Why the hell else would anyone take that big of a pay cut?

I love me some Beaston too, but the defense has proved they can succeed without him in the lineup...

True, but I feel that with Beason we get better, especially in LB pass coverage, where I feel Beason is one of the best in the league. Beason is an upgrade over Anderson in that respect.

I think you and p11 misunderstood my quote. I definitely believe Beason is an upgrade butI think the front office gave him an ultimatum. Take a pay cut or else... Anyway, good move for the future of Carolina...
