Interesting, I guess his injury and suspension was too much to handle. It's a darn shame, he looked promising.

Apparently he reported well over his target weight. If true that shows that his conditioning is a real issue. It's unfortunate but if that's the case them ra better we move on. I'm betting Chris Williams takes the LG spot

Wow. He went from being the favorite to win the starting LG spot to being completely out of a job. Clearly, he's got to get his priorities straight to be an NFL lineman.

Jrry wasn't the one driving that train as I recall. He was a late round pick that suffered from injury issues and apparently, conditioning ones as well. It should be no surprise that he got cut.

I would love to Jones take that spot over, though I doubt that will be the case. Most likely Chris Williams.

It does tell me that we will not be cutting Harvey Dahl as some on this forum have speculated in the past.

Didn't he show up a day or two late (and over weight) to last years training camp as well?

I am surprised that he was cut. Dumb if it was over his weight, did he not learn from last year? I rather have a undrafted free agent that will do every they can to make the team then someone who doesn't have the willpower or commitment to stay in shape for football.

Jones is still hurt and won't be ready for most of camp from what I've heard...

It's gonna be Williams or Smith...

I like the signing of Rashard Hall S Clemson seems like a possible steal. He is a ball hawk!

Yeah, I know. I really liked Jones' game in college and was stoked when we signed him. In reality though, I think his future is at center.
