I believe he has been a 4-3 end for his entire career, but he is starting to realize that his demands are unrealistic. Another long time 4-3 end, Dwight Freeney struggled in his transition to 3-4, but maybe Abraham will be able to provide some good pass rush.

He played OLB with the Jets. If he signs, make no mistake about it, he is not a rotational player, he starts.

Well despite his age he's still a better passrusher from the outside than anyone else on our team.

If he signs for under $3 mil i am all for it

He has skills and talent we dont have at OLB.

Get it done Keim.

I think he starts, but only plays 50% of the downs, keeps him fresh

This is a man who has had multiple 10+ sacks in his career.

We have ZERO of them on our roster atm.

Worth a shot, could be the end of Schofield.

Not sure he can demand to be a starter but he has the pedigree.

Doesn't have to demand it, he is just a far better player than anything we have on the roster at that position.

There a reason no other team in the NFL signed him. He is 35 years old. I think its very unlikely he come in here and get 10 or more sacks after being a DE for so long.

And there is a reason nobody has signed Kerry Rhodes yet either and it has nothing to do with onfield ability and everything to do with money. Abraham is just that much better than Acho and Schofield that if he signed to not start him would be idiotic.

He's start but at this point in his career he isn't gonna be taking snaps every down

Not sure money is the issue why Rhodes hasn't signed, IMO I think it is backlash about the innuendo about his personal life.

As far as Abraham's role local radio made the comparison to Bert Berry during the SB run. I like that a lot.
