There was a news article here in New Zealand today about a rugby player you guys just signed.
He is from Kenya but played in our semi pro rugby comp last year.
Daniel Adongo.
I doubt he makes the final cut. He was a average player but i will follow it with intrest.

Any others stand out to anyone? | I think that IF (and that's a big IF) Bradshaw can recover in time from his foot surgery we might see a little battle for RB. That is if the Colts don't do what the Giants did and limit his practices to mere nothing.
Also Hilton and Heyward-Bey for the outside WR. We aren't going to be playing as much 3 WR sets as last year so winning that starters spot will have more meaning,. |

Headed out to training camp today.
With the news that Angerer is starting on PUP, I wonder if this hurts him in the MLB position battle?
Anyway, here's to no injuries.... _________________

Been hearing that Bjoern Werner has been exclusively used on the same side of the line that Robert Mathis is going to start on. I have thought all along that Walden would start, and be used in run support, but also that Werner would rotate behind both of them . |

Yeah I only saw Walden with 1st team reps today. Werner is huge though...
Couple things that stood out for me today.
Darius Butler, he was everywhere, between 1st team Nickel, to the outside with the second unit.
He had 2 interceptions and ton of good plays, also on the second unit, Cassius Vaughn had a pick 6, dove over goal line like Madden...
Kelvin Shepard was playing 1st team reps with Freeman, well I would say he split time with Conner, but was on the field first.
Kerwynn Williams is fast, Ballard showed some nice hands.
Reggie drew numerous cheers, including 1 handed catch down the field.
One scary moment that stood out to me was a pass down the seem to Fleener, he bobbled it with Bethea hanging on him and Landry comes flying in and stuck Bethea...(that and the creep guy trying to talk to my family on the walk to the fields).
Griff Whalen had a great catch deep down the field too, he has pretty good chemistry with Luck.
TY had nice TD catch against Toler, great coverage just perfect pass by Luck.
Lucks passes were sharp and placed nicely, footwork was nice got the ball out quick.
Seemed like we had a lot of little trap run plays in rotation.
Also, Chandler Harnish looked really good today, a lot better than what Hasselbeck did
Last key note, DHB had at least 3 drops today.. _________________

Camp Notebook
Quote: | PLAY OF THE DAY
In team drills, Cassius Vaughn intercepted a Matt Hasselbeck pass and returned it about 20 yards for a touchdown. Chuck Pagano wants the club to be plus-2 in turnovers in games this year |
It was actually probably 35-40 yard return.
Quote: | Andrew Luck appeared in nine different sessions in 7-on-7 or 11-on-11 drills during the afternoon practice, hitting 22-of-34 passes for two touchdowns and one interception. |
Quote: | NOTE OF THE DAY
Ben Ijalana practiced twice. It was the camp-opening practice last year when he suffered a second serious knee injury. Guard Hugh Thornton did not practice on Sunday, wearing a boot in both sessions. |
