Mike Adams, Chris Kuper, Andre Caldwell, Lance Ball and Tony Carter are next.

Bet at least 3 of those guys make the team.

Not sure about Kuper making it, hard to speculate one way or the other on how his ankle will be. I lean towards it still being a wreck though.

Tony Carter will probably stick. If our 3rd back behind Montee and Ronnie is going to be primarily responsible for pass pro then they could elect to save some coin by keeping LBall over Moreno.

I always liked Mays. I could see him catching on in Oakland. Familiar w/ Allen and the Raiders have no depth at MLB right now having just released Goethel.

Would be a decent 2 down thumper for them.

He wouldn't be a bad pick up he's just very limited and not a great wrap up tackler but he'd be a good stop gap.

In terms of cap savings keeping Moreno would be cheaper than keeping Ball by around $400,000

I'm not so sure - Champ, DRC, Harris, Bolden, Webster - that's five - and Jammer is a CB/S hybrid. Carter is going to have to beat out Bolden and I don't like his odds given how loyal to and patient with their draft picks Fox and Elway have been.

My thought process as well. Along with the fact the Bolden is cheaper, although only slightly.

If we were that desperate to cut a Safety we would be better served cutting Quinton Carter. In all likelyhood both will return.

The Raiders do seem to have a fetish in recent years for big Middle Linebackers who can't tackle or cover so he would be a good fit.

It was only a matter of time before May's was cut, Classy player hope he finds a home and he should. Hopefully this bodes well for Bradley, Johnson and Irving.

I don't see Adams getting cut, He's the most consistent player player we have at that position.
Kuper if cut won't be until late in the pre-season, we're going to give him every chance to get healthy and made the team perhaps even the PUP list. Caldwell and Ball must have a great preseason and camp to even consider keeping and I like Carter but that goes for him to.

Pretty sure they put Kupe on the PUP list today. No real surprise there.

***Update***

@caplannfl: Former #Broncos MLB/ILB Joe Mays could have a new team soon. He's received interest from over 6 teams which run 3-4/4-3.

He'd be better in a 3-4 like Cleveland where he can play strictly downhill, asking anymore more than him though and the faults in his game appear pretty rapidly.

Safety is going to be a more interesting position battle than CB I think. We have Moore, Adams, Carter, Bruton, Jammer and Ihenacho. I wouldn't be surprised to see us keep 10 DBs - 5 CBs, 4 Ss and Jammer, a CB/S. That means that one of the safeties is going to get cut; I think Moore is safe and so is Bruton given the contract we just gave him, so that puts the battle down to Ihenacho, Adams and Q Carter fighting for 2 spots.
