mikejurecki: "Hearing Levi Brown didn't stick out during the off-season, raising some eyebrows going into camp. Nate Potter could get a chance to start."

Thought about this.

No surprise honestly. He's coming of an injury and hasn't played in a while. More importantly, he hasn't stood out because he's just not that good. I think it would be naive to expect a different and better Levi Brown than what we've seen in the past. I definitely think Potter should get some consideration but between his inexperience and Levi coming off an injury, chances are Palmer is going to get hit a lot in this offense.

He's only played one good half of a season in his career. I personally think Potter is better as of right now

I just want no 7-9. I want to either have a winning season or like a 3-13. None of that in between stuff

I'm with you guys. I don't want to see a middle of he NFL season. Either Winning or losing all the way.

Mike Jurecki @mikejurecki

Levi Brown didn't stand out during the off-season. Arians mentioned Nate Potter had a very good off-season & he would play the best five.

I can't take another five win, or less season. That would be three in four years...I just can't do that.

Well early on in the preseason Arians was calling Levi Brown "elite". BA needs to make up his mind.

Every player is elite before they start playing.

Anyone think Potter can be a solid starter? I think some people thought he had starter potential when we took him in the 7th round.

I can see a bulked up Potter becoming a solid but not spectacular LT. He needs to add muscle mass to improve his ability in the run game - interested to see what he did with coach Lott in the off-season.

If Levi isn't going to be the LT but he's healthy I look for him to play some sort of role in the starting 5 - perhaps he can push DC out for the starting spot at RG.

Potter was impressive in pass protection for a 7th round rookie last year. I think he opens the year as a starter and runs with it.

Very interesting, but I could see it happening. Levi is a power run blocker and we have been heading to a zone blocking scheme for a while now. Massie, Potter, Cooper, and even Sendlien and Colidge should all excel in a zone scheme. Heck Watford and Kelemente should be good in that system as well.

Darren Urban ‏@Cardschatter 6m

Lot of Levi talk suddenly RT @PaulCalvisi: I'm hearing Levi Brown asked to lose weight before #CardsCamp & has indeed lost significant lbs

Very much could been the reason why the coaches were not happy with him during off season workouts.
