Doesn't look like any action will be taken on Cooper, will most likely stay in the WR competition.

Good news, but probably still treading lightly.

They took action by fining him, doesn't make sense they will release him if they bothered fining him.

Well I suppose when your team's biggest name is Michael Vick, second chances and forgiveness is always an option. Hopefully all this settles soon because none of the media people are writing about what happened at today's practice.

Notables from Kapadia's daily practice recap:
http://www.phillymag.com/eagles/2013/07/31/running-diary-eagles-practice-observations-7/

Quote:
Vick’s next two throws are on-target. He threads a completion to Brent Celek right past a diving Mychal Kendricks. And he launches a bomb to Jackson, who gets behind Jordan Poyer for a 70-yard touchdown.

Quote:
Football’s a funny game. The players just spent about six minutes trying to violently knock each other over. Now it’s all fist-pounds and bro-hugs as the drill comes to an end.

Quote:
1:42 – Another special-teams period. It’s worth noting that Kelly seems to always spend this time with the returners.

Quote:
Matt Barkley struggled for most of the day, although to be fair, he’s not playing with the most talented supporting cast. Back-to-back throws to Nick Miller are incomplete.

Real shame.

Was drunk and used a racially charged word on camera like a month ago....Webby wants us to move on from it. It was dumb and he was fined so its over with here. (Not with the national media of course, expect it to go on for at least a week or two)

BGN and Crossingbroad have articles/videos up if you want to look into it more.

Due to Coop or some other quote from a coach that I missed?

Jackson, Coop, Johnson, Avant, Momah/Benn. I wouldn't be surprised if they keep 6 and go with Sheppard also, with Johnson and Jackson returning punts/kicks.

I think Sheppard makes it if he continues to impress.

Apparently he has been extremely impressive in camp so far?

Let's see how he does in preseason.

Webby is rediculas. For genuine change to take place in the world there needs to be more discussion not less. This is another opportunity to change some people's mind and its squandered because its to much of a hot button and makes some people uncomfortable.
Rise to the occasion, don't sink beneath it.
