Never mind, it seems slow as he has forever in the pocket, we are not used to see QB's survive that long, distorts your perception of it all.

That and he has good movement.

Watched some of Bridgewater and here's some things I came away with:

Strengths
Good footwork
Excellent ability to maneuver in the pocket and has a good feel for pressure
Does an awesome job of keeping the play alive and can throw on the run very well
Very tough and will play through injuries (played with a broken wrist against UConn)
Good poise in the pocket and will take a hit in order to make a throw
Good speed and can run for positive yards but definitely has a pass first mentality
Laser arm--puts good zip on the ball and can throw 60+ yards
Good anticipation on throws
Fantastic touch on deep balls and leads receivers very well
Does not make many mistakes and rarely turns the ball over
Plays like a winner

Weaknesses
Accuracy can break down at times and will often overthrow receivers
Will force some throws at times
Sometimes tries to do too much and will take some big sacks
On the light side and will need to bulk up in order to take hits at the next level
Is he really 63?

That is a pretty good write up there

Couldnt have written much more better if i had sat down and tried.

I think he is 6 1/2 to 6'2, but skinny makes height hard to judge.

Expecting us to pick in the teens and there's a strong LT/pass-rushing class this year.

No way we are in teens, a little optimistic there

Top 7 for sure

I am torn over a QB or lt atm

After one game of carsonball I am torn as to say we go oline in round 1 2014 or QB

If we go oline then we are much better in 2014 but then cannot get top QB in 2015 as we will be drafting lower

However if we go QB then will he sit like Carson did years ago and then we waste another year

Also there is massive hype for Cameron Erving from FSU as a lt in 2014

Personally as a nole fan I cannot see it, he is good, not great, solid not dominating

He was first year lt last year after moving from dline in spring ball

He will be a good one and probably be over drafted but I could live with him in second round 2014

If we have a shot at Teddy we have to take him, no ifs ands or buts about it.

I'd agree but I'm not going to be upset if we take Clowney either

Yeah it's got to be Bridgewater and if we're in the area to draft him (Top 2) it probably means Palmer played poorly anyway.

If we're picking in the teens though, 2 guys that stand out to me are Taylor Lewan and Khalil Mack.

There is no way we'll be bad enough for Teddy and there's no way a team like JAX or OAK is trading the pick. A solid LT plus Cooper back and we're 3-4 wins better.

Pass rush is hurting but if you take out Clowney and make it Mathews or Lewan vs the 2nd best pass-rusher i'm still taking the LT.

Matthews, Lewan, Antonio Richardson (Tenn) would all be great options then there's high potential yet to fulfill though guys like Cyrus Kouandijo (BAMA) and Cameron Erving (Florida State).

I can absolutely say if we don't draft a LT in the top 2 rounds (assuming we don't address it in free agency) then I'll be livid.

I'm not too worried about LT Levi just had what is likely his worst game of the year and and we still looked good on offense.

I have far bigger worries in our front 7 specifically pass rusher and an end across from.Campbell.

If Levi starts week one at left tackle next year, I may have serious Brain damage

Yeah it is pretty exciting to be honest. My biggest problem with Levi though is because he's Palmer's blindside blocker and because Palmer is a traditional pocket passer, him getting beat is going to hurt us more than other positions along the line. I know you're a big proponent of the inside guys being more vital than the outside guys but in this case, Palmer is going to fumble the ball a ton if Levi keeps this up. Sacks up the middle won't cause the QB to fumble that often cause they see it coming. Palmer getting blindsided will cause a lot of fumbles. Our offense won't be too good if our QB is fumbling twice a game.

The defense is a big worry but just remember how bad we were when Horton first got here. It took about 8 games for things to click. I'm going to cling to the silver lining for a few more games.
