Ok, fast forward to May 2014.

We own the 1st overall pick as we have had a stinker of a year.

There are holes in the same places there are holes now and we have our choice of anyone in the draft class.

Who do you take?

Is it Clowney who could be Lawrence Taylor 2000 version, or do you take a QB, OL or someone else?

List your reasoning, so we can all ridicule your choice.

Me, I go the DE/OLB freak as number 1 overall

2014 QB class is loaded, we could trade back up from top of 2nd round and get someone in the late teens/early 20s to be our QB of the future.

Players like Clowney dont grow on trees and would help us against Kap and Wilson for years to come.

This is really a "Do you want a brownie or a cupcake" so many good options. We could go Clowney/Murray (Or whichever QB you prefer) Giving us the elite pass rusher and a potential franchise QB

Or we could go with Bridgewater which is what I prefer. The for sure franchise QB. I just don't want to ever here the carnival music coming from the TV for the QB carousel again.

I do like Teddy alot.

Some reason Louisville games always on here in Oz.

But Clowney is so so so special

Murray isnt a bad option, want to see his senior year before making final decision.

Honestly, if we grabbed Clowney I would have to wonder if we were making a switch to a 4-3. He's a biggggg kid and will fit great in a 4-3.. I think there are ?'s about his fit at OLB in a 3-4 and dropping into coverage.

If Bridgewater is the franchise QB everyone is making him out to be then I think he is the pick. Although I believe Clowney is the best player in the draft, a franchise QB will win us more games now and in the future than a stud DE (or any other position) would. I think the history of 1st overall picks proves that line of thinking.

Swings and roundabouts really

All choices we make will be good ones really at number 1.

Teddy needs about 10 - 15 pounds extra weight for me, but that is nit picking

If we pass on Teddy we are a poorly, poorly run organization. I don't care if Clowney is going to put up 18 sacks a year for 12 years straight. You take the Quarterback that has the upside and quality the Bridgewater does; the impact of the Quarterback is at an all time high and Arizona has a terrible, terrible history with drafting QB's cannot swing and miss on on Teddy if you can get him.

Murray would be a terrible, terrible option. Kid is nothing more than Chase Daniel in the NFL, 4th/5th round guy. Career backup.

Some of the draft talent evaluator folks you follow on Twitter would not agree.

I like Murray, don't love him. I think if he performs well in his senior year he'll be a second round pick. I think he has some great mechanics, not a very good decision maker but with Arians I'd be willing to let him develop that. He has arm strength and he's confident which I love in a QB. Of course his size is an issue and his deep balls tend to hang a little bit. I don't think his ceiling is a Chase Daniels I would say more of a (Its tough because of his size but this is going to be a loose comparison) Matthew Stafford ceiling

I still think if he would've came out this year he would've been the second best QB in the draft

The big issue with Murray is that he crumble under pressure, both physical and mental.

When he is surrounded by superior athletes and superior players he plays well, as soon as you put him into a situation where he is on a level playing field, or against similar quality players or athletes he crumbles.

Just not a great football player, have never grown or developed since his freshman year.

I have one complaint about Bridgewater... His delivery seems incredibly slow. Nobody else seems to be complaining about that though, so maybe it's just my eyes playing tricks on me.

It's not fast, but it is not slow either.

It's your eyes shawn.

Never mind, it seems slow as he has forever in the pocket, we are not used to see QB's survive that long, distorts your perception of it all.

That and he has good movement.
