And just like that, all of the Jaguars fans became soccer fans.

As a philosophy major, yes, this is correct.

I'd rather listen to radio commentary of the Puppy Bowl. Seriously, soccer is more boring than traffic.

I couldn't care less about Khan's overseas financial endeavors. So long as he doesn't steal anymore home games, it's whatever Rolling Eyes

You guys lucked out.

Perennial midtable team with the gem of the Prem.

Yes, that is a Michael Jackson statue outside of Craven Cottage. Did MJ have connections to the club? Nope.

I have no idea what any of this means.

Lol

All you need to know is that your new favorite team has a statue of Michael Jackson outside of the stdium. For no reason other than the old owner was a friend.

Well this all is kinda important to the ability of the franchise to be able to have a sustainable product in Jacksonville. Prior to Khan buying the team, Weaver's (as well as the entire front office's) failures were causing to team to be hemorrhaging money. Without Khan thinking outside the box with inventive marketing, and with taking those games, and literally everything else he's done, it would have continued to be more and more likely that the team would have to choose between being worthless and moving. I get that it's rough only getting 9 games a year instead of 10, but calling it stealing is a really salty way to view the whole situation.

In the same vein as all of that, the purchase of Fulham is beneficial to the team as well. This article discusses that pretty well.

More than anything else, this is your ace-in-the-hole argument now against people who continue to insist that the Jags are moving to London. NFL owners aren't allowed to own majority stakes in other major league sports teams that play in an NFL market. Clearly Shad wouldn't be going in on Fulham if he had plans to move the Jags there any time soon.

But Kraft is the majority owner of the NE Revolution.
