Experts opinions only matter when they support the right opinion. If not the experts are dismissed immediately. Hilarious. Laughing

You guys ready yet for new season of Baseball

TIGERS got there new coach not much experience in Brad but I am willing to give him a chance to prove himself next year he has the talent period on that team to win it all.

Not yet. It's only been over a week.

As for the Tigers, only time will tell if it was the right decision. Its a risky move given the total lack of experience.

Exactly. Not much experience? More like NO experience outside of managing in the WBC. Only time will tell.

The Tigers have to make several moves in the offseason that will make or break next season. They are certainly not a lock right now to win it all or even make the playoffs. Only time will tell.

They do have a number of issues facing them. They started by not making any qualifying offers. It will be interesting to see which, if any, of their free agents they try to sign.

I only have two keeper locks right now.

Miguel Cabrera
Adam Jones

I have a lot of interesting options to fill out the rest of my keepers though.

Choo- Depending on where he signs it would be hard not to keep him with all the walks and runs he gets plus the HR's and steals are nice.

Wainwright- Probably will keep him considering he is a top 5 SP he's getting older though.

Strasburg- He bugs me a lot with his inconsistency, but he's still one of the best young pitchers in the game.

Marte- Could be a dark horse keeper for me. I love all the steals with some power mixed in, but he strikes out a ton.

Bautista- HR machine, but he is getting old and he gets hurt every year.

Doubtful but still a chance to be kept.

Cuddyer
Teheran
Utley

I like all my guys, but I will likely either be keeping 2 SP and 2 OF or 3 OF which is no good so I will likely look to make some trades before the draft.

He's certainly worthy of consideration. It will be interesting with the addition of new pitching stats next year how it impacts both the keepers and draft.

The only players I'm certain of keeping are,

1. Jose Fernandez

2. Everth Cabrera

3. Evan Gattis depending if the Braves sign Brian McCann.

Then it boils down to,

Jay Bruce *
Brandon Phillips
Brandon Belt
Joe Kelly
Jason Castro*
James Loney
