I love this news. Was really hoping this move would eventually be made because I feel Irvin never would've been big enough to be a 3 down player at LEO. I think this helps our pass rush immensely and should really free up Irvin to get to the QB. Hopefully the Norton Jr. can work on his coverage skills and playing against the run. He's done wonders with our other LBs.

I don't think this increases the probability of us retaining both Clemons and Avril in the future.
yeah Clemons and Avril are fighting for ones
spot going into next year.

I think we'll see Irvin used similar to how Miller was his rookie year.

Saw this coming... They just wanted him to be able to use his speed and athleticism while he adjust to the speed of the pro game.i think he'll definitely thrive at the new position...

Whatre you guys' projections for Bruce this year at his new spot?

I'm gonna say something like 36 tackles, 10.5 sacks and 3 FF

That sounds about right if were playing a full season. Plus, he will only be playing in passing situations so Id bet he doesn't get very many tackles. Ill give him 27 tackles, 8 sacks, and 2 FF

Im wondering if Pete and John put him at DE his first year to help him develop some pass rushing moves, and it might speed up his development a little bit more. We will see, but I expect great things from him when he returns from suspension.

I expect stats like these as well. I think that Dan Quinn will do a good job at putting Bruce into favourable pass rushing situations.
