Another member of the Broncos front office picks up some penalty points.

Apparently we need to take our FO's licenses and cars away.

This is getting ridiculous. I say can him. Hes expendable, someone needs an example made of them.

I tend to agree that he needs to be canned. This is even worse than a player getting arrested. He is in upper management and should help projecting an image of professionalism. If he and Russell are reckless enough to drive under the influence and get arrested then they are not of sound enough judgement to help run an efficient front office.

Seriously thought this was a joke when I opened the thread.

Elway needs to can these clowns.

It would be wrong to fire him and not Russell, in fact it would probably break employment laws. Either it's a fireable offence or it isn't.

I'd lean towards keeping them, but it's both or neither.

It wouldn't break employment laws, but you're right. Kinda hard to justify one but not the other.

Wow totally thought this was a joke.

Elway does have that grizzly whiskey hardened voice, did he just hire his drinking buddies? This is insane.

Fire them both, or lose a bunch of fans (myself included). What a pathetic joke of an organization.

The way I look at both of these cases...

You set a precedence and fire them both. Theres no room for this type of stupidity in a leadership position. One thing my late grandfather told me when I was in college, "Dont do anything to let your employer think less of you. You are ALWAYS replaceable. EVERYONE is replaceable."

With Elway in charge, and Fox in the shadows, I dont have much of a worry in the personnel department. Kick both these scrubs to the curb and find people that are more committed.

Especially with the way the front office has shown with it's treatment of players who've done this kinda thing.

Like Knowshon, DJ and Matt Prater. The Broncos have been inclined to give people second chances. DJ didn't get cut until well after serving his suspension for his second DUI. There is definitely a precedent of leniency from the Broncos in the past.

I am sure some sort of suspension and mandated treatment program is in the works here. The Broncos should take this opportunity and really push this issue in the community and work to fight alcohol abuse and driving under the influence.

My wife told me that I should fire up my résumé. Jonny 'director of personnel' J20 has a nice ring to it eh?
