Which player do you think will get the most rushing attempts in 2013-2014? Pead is suspended for one game. Stacy is a rookie, Richardson may not be an every down back. Use the reply button to post your more detailed thoughts (The "why side of it").

I'm going with Pead, but only by a small margin over Richardson. I just don't see a first down back when I look at Stacy's game. I do expect him to be used heavily at the goal line though.

They drafted Pead to be an every down option, they'll give him every opportunity to as an early 2nd round pick...

I think it'll play out like this...

1. Pead
2. Stacy
3. Richardson

I have this gut feeling that Zac Stacy is going to end up being our #1 RB this season. So I went with him.

I think Stacy will be the official starter by week 5.

God I hope Sam doesn't have the most carries. lol

It'll be Zac Stacy getting the main load tiring defenses while Pead and Richardson take advantage of them fatigued.

I'm caught a little off guard by how much you guys think Stacy will contribute. We already know that Fisher in hesitant to play inexperienced players.

In regards to the topic at hand-- I voted Richardson, but hoping its Stacy

I like Stacy but Pead has a lot of potential. I voted Pead.

What I wonder more is how many RB will we end up keeping and who will be or short yardage/goaline back. Ganaway if he makes the team or Stacy?

I think it will be the duo of Stacy and Pead. I like Richardson I just think that both Stacy and Pead are better. A lot of people doubted Pead after last season but he had to miss a lot of post-rookie stuff due to graduation. I think Stacy will be the feature back with Pead being a nice change of pace back and a receiving threat out of the backfield.

I'm thinking it'll be Pead. He has I think more big play potential than Stacy and just offers us more in the long run. He needs to work on his pass protection though.

I was trying to say that he is hesitant, as evidenced by the usage of Dahl over D-Stew, and Gibson over Quick.

It seems that anywhere on the roster that there was competition between a rookie and a player with experience, Fisher opted for experience.

Stacy or Pead. I don't think it will be Richardson. I think he'll be used more as a change of pace.

Every RB on the roster is inexperienced.

Which means that Pead and Richardson are the most experienced in a relative sense.

We ran primarily, a single back offense last year. This means that it is important for our running back to understand all of his responsibilities in pass protection. If Stacy surpasses both Pead and Richardson in this area, then he will likely start.

But how likely is that?

The most talented player will play. That would be Pead. Richardson is nothing more than an outside-the-numbers player. Bet Stacy comes in second because he will get a ton of red zone carries.
