We do this once every year or two, and it's a decent way to pass the time, as well as learn more about our Brownies.

Let's do it a little differently this year. Instead of me coming up with most or all of the questions, I'll ask the first one. The person who gets it first does the next question, and so forth. I have plenty of questions in my head, so I can help push things along when needed.

Please try to answer the questions without a web search. Question writers can obviously use a web search, but try to answer questions without looking them up.

Here we go.

I was the first owner of the Browns. After acquiring an exisiting AAFC team, my first order of business was hiring Paul Brown. Who am I?

Correct. Why u no ask new question?

Since HC Blanton Collier led the Browns to the 1964 NFL title, the Browns have had 12 different head coaches. Which of those head coaches has the most wins as Browns' coach?

Pat Shurmur? Wait no Romeo Cre...no not him. Eric Mangini?

On a more serious note I'm going with Marty Schottenhiemer for this one.

Reggie, I see the rule of asking the next question if you answer the question correctly, and sdrawkcab321's confidence in his answer is clearly without question, but I could see holding back on asking the next question if there was any doubt. Yes?

Valid point. I (or someone else who's confident in the answer) can confirm before the next question is asked.

Marty Schottenheimer is not correct. Close, but no cigar.

We could take our guess, and then look it up. If it confirms that you are right, go ahead and ask one. A little work (if you consider that work) but it may keep this thing moving.

Rutiglano... (Sp?)

New Question...

Which Browns Head Coach won more games as a player for the Pittsburg steelers than as a Head Coach for the Cleveland Browns?

I was close on the spelling... Smile He was browns HC when I went to my first games.

New question: Which Browns Head Coach won more games as a player for the Pittsburg steelers than as a Head Coach for the Cleveland Browns?

Hint: when he played for the steelers the browns were in first place and the steelers were in last.... When he coached for the browns the steelers were in first place and the browns were in last. Laughing

Not sure if anyone will get that one, but we'll see. I certainly didn't know it without looking it up.
