This one's tough. I don't think either player is as good as Clemons or Winfield.

Between the two....I guess I'll take Mebane simply because he's been doing it longer. If Wagner progresses like I think he will, he'll easily be better than Mebane in 2013, however.

Really now? You don't think either is as good as Winfield?

I'm taking Big Bane.

I explained it more in-depth in the previous voting thread, but essentially I see Antoine Winfield being an elite player at what he does (nickel corner). He hasn't allowed a TD in 3 seasons from the slot and has a tackling % similar to most WLBs over that time. People want to discredit him because the perceived value of the nickel corner, but in today's passing league it's a position that is usually on the field more than most OLBs and we saw how much teams killed us last year.

I can't say Bane or Wagner are elite at what they do.

My case for Wagner..

Stats:
140 Tackles, 2 Sacks, 3 Ints, 4 PD, 6 Stuffs

Runner-up in the DROY voting.. Had a game changing interception vs. the Dolphins (but was called back on a B/S call on Thomas)

Started the season off as our signal caller and never looked back.... and became to be considered one of the best young linebackers in the game at the end of the year...

Wagner.

Mebane is a great DT and easily top 25 in the league, but doesn't have the potential to be elite. He'll be above average the rest of his career AT BEST.

B WAG has the potential to be elite. He has the athleticism which makes sense since Pete/John drafted him with that attribute in mind, etc.
