Two numbers per day, 50 days.
Vote for the Greatest Eagles of All-Time by Uniform Number.
Please don't vote ahead.
If you do we will not count your votes for a week.
All players with the numbers of the day will be provided.
Please make a case for your guy if there is any contention.
Single best argument will be the decider (tie breaker).
Capice?

A running list will be kept on this page
When this is over there will be football.

Today's Numbers:
NA
01

Cast your votes until midnight tomorrow EST.
Please look up anybody you don't know.
I know there will be an overwhelming urge to vote for Tiny Feather, but he never played a game.
So, how can he be an all-time great?

As an original Eagle and a five year veteran I vote Joe Carpe, NA.

Even though Gary Anderson had the better career, I vote for Tony Franklin, #1.
He was more Eagle than Anderson.

Fair enough.
But, you never heard of Tony Franklin, Gary Anderson or Mat McBriar?

0/00/NA: Joe Carpe
01: Tony Franklin

Franklin stood out from the 1s.....and I agree the fact that Carpe was an original Eagle deserves a nod over guys who only played in a lot of cases for one year and according to Wikipedia in some cases weren't even on the Eagles. What site are you using for the names? But yea, None of those 0/00/NA names sounded familiar at all.

Gary Anderson has a great backstory and local connections but can't really be considered a great Eagle, unfortunately.

Carpe and Franklin for the first two. Might refrain from voting on guys that I have to research again though.

2-Matt Barkley Cool

I wish I could vote for Sparkles here, but

2-David Akers

Since Kafka is the only name I recognize on that list

3-Mike Kafka

Akers is a no-brainer here.

I'll begrudgingly take Jack Concannon as he actually played a few seasons.
Kirkman was a close second.
