yup saw it yesterday on the falcons site im so glad they chose the pantheon. That place is gonna be a work of art and ahead of it's time. Will be huge for tourists to come see it for awhile. Im quite sure it will attract all kinds of events to come there just based on it's looks alone.

How did it get the name of Stankonia though XD Huge outkast fan but im sorta confused on that so far Very Happy

I am beyond excited. This is going to be the premiere stadium in the world. Hello World Cups, Super Bowls, College Football Championships, etc. This is huge for not just the Falcons, but for the city of Atlanta. This one stadium could have an Olympic like impact on the city.

Congrats on the stadium guys doesn't feel good to know a new state of the art stadium is on it's way not that they were in any danger of leaving but it's nice to see the Falcons taken care considering the nice string of overall success lately. Is it true that Blank was able to pay for it without digging into the taxpayers pockets? If so major major props. Maybe the most underrated owners in sports.

Taxpayers are giving the team $200 million. But the team has to pay for $50 million to the surrounding areas to get that $200.

The stadium is going to cost around $1 billion. So they got a net $150M for their 1 billion from the city. $200M is from the NFL. If they can get the $300-350M that I think they can for a naming rights deal, they'll have 650-700M without hitting the PSL market.

Yeah but i think he is talking about the tax payers of Georgia. Which we are not paying for that 200 million that would be the tourist and visitors who visit the city doing that from the hotel tax. So we pretty much come out clean and cost free as citizens of the state.

Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
This stadium looks downright AMAZING. Has a very futuristic look to it that like others said, will draw even MORE events to ATL! The "camera lense" retractable roof is really cool as well. So pumped! RISEUP!

What do you guys think the odds are that Coca-Cola makes a run at the naming rights?

That'd be dope. Me and Guadalupe were talking about it the other day. Another option could be Home Depot as Blank has connections there. I'm hoping its a big company that gets the rights.
