Probably so. But so will 15-20 other defenses Laughing

Never been a big fan of taking defenses early. I utilize another strategy when it comes to team defenses. Cool

I'm sure a bunch of us will just be playing matchups with team defenses, making it a bit harder.

Still... the thought of taking a defense now is crazy to me.

...and there are about 15-20 wide receivers I would've taken ahead of a guy catching passes from Mark Sanchez (and not running yet...). Wink Razz

That's fine as well. But most of those 15-20 are already gone!

Be that as it may SOMEONE on the Jets is gonna have to rack up some yardage and scores. Wink

With 3 WR roster spots to fill, having depth in the likes of a guy like Holmes as my #5 is hard to pass on. When healthy he is a #1.

Just seemed to me like once one person went defense everyone was like "OMG GOTTA GET A DEFENSE!!!$$!!@$@#" Laughing

That was my reaction I won't lie Laughing

Honestly I just don't want to be playing defensive matchups every single week. For me it was about either getting a solid starter with upside (the Bengals D) or taking a shot at a fringe starter or quality backup. Also when DKE took the 9ers D he took in my opinion the last wart-free D/ST off the board. So I took the D/ST that I thought had the smallest warts.

Reuben Randle, WR, New York Giants

Alshon Jeffery, WR, Chicago Bears

I couldn't resist taking a Giant.. Even though I had him ranked a few spot lower than this. Embarassed

Pretty weak at WR - Fitzgerald, Garcon, Givens, Jeffery, Randle. Hopefully one of the youngsters pan out.

Full team:

QB: Stafford, Romo
RB: Charles, Bush, Miller
WR: Fitzgerald, Garcon, Givens, Jeffery, Randle
TE: Gronk
K: -
D/ST: -

Eh, I grabbed the Seahawks because:

1: I like the Seahawks and
2: It was 2 rounds until I'd be able to pick again.

So I saw the D's were starting to go off the board and I grabbed the one I liked. Also knew the Giants D wouldn't be making it back to me...but I've already got Eli. Very Happy
