Yes! Awesome underrated player/signing. Dude can play center field/deep half to perfection.

I don't mean to ruin your mood but Giordano is garbage, he has been beaten a number of times against the pass and run on each and every Raiders game, in every highlight you watch of the Raiders from the 2012 season... Giordano allowed a big play.

He is a beast on special teams though, a very fast player.

I didnt see much of him last season, but if he is half the player he was the year before then he will be an upgrade from what we have had.

He was solid for the Raiders during 2011 then fell off the face of the earth. At least he's most likely an upgrade over Dahl. Laughing

A Raider Fan's View of Giordano--

Giordano always reminded me of Rocky Marciano when I watched him play. He always put his heart and soul into every play. When he was knocked down, he always got back up and took his lumps. Yes, he got beat on some occasions, but so did most of our secondary in 2012.

Although he suffered a shoulder and knee injury last year, he played all 16 games. The Fresno, CA, native combined for 51 tackles and had 2 interceptions in 2012. When he stepped up to make a play, the home crowd chanted, “Gio, Gio, Gio, Gio!” Though, he spent a short time wearing the Silver and Black, he is a player that will be missed by Raider Nation. Raider Nation always remembers the players that put everything they had into their position. He is definitely one of those players.

If he covers the guard on 3rd and long. Who is going to cover the fat kid with the ice cream cone? that guy is clearly more of a deep threat.

Probably. Scouting reports say he did well doing that in Oakland last season.

Saw the signing. Exact reaction was "meh".

Gio > Dahl, still, so I can't really complain.

Meh in Green Bay. One of many victims of Kurt Warner during the '09 Wild Card shootout.
