Haha

Like, mine. Jennifer Lawrence is meh.

BRB, moving to America, becoming 6 years younger.

Very happy with the signing - one year, not much commitment on our side and the potential for good depth on what is already a very good line. Rotating in should keep Melton fresh while staying competitive - plenty to like about this hire.

On a serious note - Emma Watson.

Who said they were really high on this move?
Based on the replies, every Bears fan in this thread has shown moderate to high levels of approval for this move.

Unless today is opposite day.

So many new posters in these parts!

...I'm also replying because Emma Watson.

But not for Jennifer Lawrence? fail.

Emma watson >>>> Jennifer Lawrence.

Not in looks, talent or anything else... Harry Potter fanboy.

Not even a big Harry Potter fan. But she's definitely got the looks and the talent, IMO. Haven't been too impressed by any acting Jennifer has done. She is pretty and is fairly funny in interviews and speeches, but Emma Watson is much more my type.

But I think we've derailed the topic of this thread enough. Lets just agree that Jennifer Lawrence is far superior and end it. Smile

You got it my friend Wink

P.S.
I am very surprise you haven't been impressed with Jennifer Lawrence's acting, even if i wasn't a big fan of hers, it's clear that she is extremely talented in every single thing she did. Did you watch Silver Linings Playbook for example? she was incredible. [And she won every single role on the planet for her performance there]

You really shouldn't, seeing how you're from London, you got a decent shot of getting JLaw... her last [and only] boyfriend was Nicholas Hoult and also:

Even with the accent, I don't think I'm quite cool enough to attract someone AKA-ed as "J-Law". I'll go away and come up with my own street name..."P-Inky" just doesn't work at all.

Why move to America when you can just stay here and have Alice Eve? Wink...

Because Vincent Chase is married to her already.

We pulled this same move a couple years ago w/ Amobi Okoye. He came in, rotated w/ Melton and got 6 sacks in a very part time role. So its just a chance to repeat the same success.

It was 4 sacks, BTW, but he was solid overall regardless. I liked what I saw out of Nate Collins last year in limited snaps, but Ellis has an opportunity to compete for that pass rushing #3 role. The #4 DT is not going to see many snaps except for injuries, considering Tucker will probably be moving DEs inside on pass rushing downs like last year and that will take away opportunities. Ellis might play better in a role where he is just told to hit the gap and go after the QB, sort of like what happened with Okoye.

add depth where its needed and be a solid role player at the very least.

Maybe you should keep it that way then... the first 6 seasons were awesome, the last two... not so much.

But as long as you guys are expecting him to come in and compete for a depth/roster spot, then I understand being happy about it. If any of you are expecting him to start or even compete for a starting job, you'll be disappointed. He's garbage, he recorded 13 tackles while starting all 16 games last season.

Low-risk signing. No guarantee that he even makes the team. If we're forumlating a depth chart right now he would probably be the 4th DT and not a lock to be active on gameday.

That's a pretty accurate assessment, I'd say.
