A gentle reminder and camp fodder is more likely IMO.

How many more gentle reminder's are you going to give this guy? What are you going with 3 strikes and your out?

Evan just isnt smart.....I think management and the coaching staff know that the chances something happens again are high. He hasnt changed in his entire football career. Apparently talking with Phil Emery directly didnt affect him either.

None Laughing

Have to say I'm shocked he is a goner...didn't think Emery would pull the trigger so quickly on him but it's clear we are setting a new standard with the trade of Carimi and now the release of Rodriguez.

Looks like this staff is taking risks but also not taking any crap when they screw up.

This was Emery's first mistake but at least he admitted it early.

E-Rod should lead block for Ced Benson. The drunken backfield.

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Glad to see that Emery isn't putting up with any of that crap.

Rodriguez should have known better after getting arrested the first time earlier this off season. The fact that he got arrested again is just plain dumb and irresponsible on his behalf.

Hopefully this serves as a learning lesson for him and some of the younger guys coming into the NFL. These guys need to grow up and start acting like professionals, not thugs acting like they still live in the ghetto.

Yeah I'm glad to see ERod go. I remember hearing good things about Fiamaetta coming out of colleg, glad to have a more traditional FB in the mix now.

This is a pretty impressive power move from Emery.

He cut a 4th round pick of his 1 year after he was drafted for not living up to off field expectations.

This shows that he is not overly attached to draft picks like some GMs.
