in Houston, Carter, Crawford and Bass we are clearly shorter staffed than we are at TE (Riveria, Ausberry and Francis), wonder if this story is more than a rummour?

This was already touched on when he was drafted. The staff and Kasa himself said he will be playing TE and was not drafted to switch positions.

there is what the player wants and what the team needs though, goven a 6th round pick is always near the cusp of the 53 man roster selection I can't help thinking more dual position players makes sense. Fro example, it always amazes me we haven't in the past found long snapper Condo on the field occasionally as backup LB (is he really bad as a LB?)

The team already said he was drafted to play TE.

If he had skills at DE, he wouldn't have switched positions at CU. The blogger who wrote that article has no clue what he was talking about.

He referred to Kasa as a 'college star' at DE, which just isn't accurate at all.

In what NFL world is this the case?

Condo doesn't play LB to lessen his exposure to injury as we have seen what happens when he is out with injury. I am surprised though that Geothel hasn't tried to pickup long snapping to extend his career and make himself more valuable as he is on the bubble.

Yes, he is. He made it in the NFL because he can snap, that's the only thing he has proven to do at a pro level.

And this story is nothing but someone's thought. Kasa was drafted as a TE, is listed at TE and was practicing at TE. If it wasn't for his switch to TE in college, he probably wouldn't have been drafted, he never did anything at Colorado at DE. Furthermore, i don't see how we couldn't carry 4 TEs but we'd have room to carry Kasa at DE. It's all nonsense.

He's the TE for the future. He's a bit raw but a nice prospect once he gets accustomed to to running routes. Has pretty good hands and is a solid blocker. Think he was a DE for a year at CU.

Any chance you change the title, makes it sound like a done deal rather than some bloggers theory.

Or just lock it. I mean, it simply isn't true.

For most posters on here, that's simply asking too much.
