Yeah, he managed to go through the Seahawks and Patriots in about 4 weeks, never really playing. He's done.

Could be a good pick up, if he is able to stay relatively healthy, and that's a big IF. No one can deny his talent. We will see what happens. He may not have signed, he may just be a camp try out. It's unclear now, but we will know more soon. Regardless, we def needed TE help.

Idzik was obviously part of the group that brought Winslow to Seattle last year. The reason he got cut was for financial reasons I thought, that's the impression I got from watching him on NFLN a few weeks ago. He said he walked away from the Patriots because obviously with Gronk and Hernandez they have a strong TE group already which would limit playing time, and his wife was having another child and he didn't want to uproot his family. So that's the reason why he walked away from last season. By all accounts though, he sounds like he is healthy and his mind is in the right place and he is def able to focus on football now.

Again, his injury history is a cause for concern, but a very low risk move by bringing him in for a try out. See what he does, and if you like it sign him to a one year deal.

This looks really bizarre after the Garrard signing not working out for health raisins.

Mmmmm, health raisins.

On the off chance that he makes the team, keep him far far away from Smith. He'll wreck a young QB's confidence in no time.

Terrible knees but great talent.

Don't see him doing much and I doubt he makes the team.

It's too bad Garrard retired, he was the only on to make MSW look like anything other than a complete bum.
