Looking like done deal!

Donald Brown would surely be cut right?!

Bradshaw is in Indy at this very moment. The Indianapolis Star also believes the Colts' interest in the 27-year-old is "serious," not routine tire-kicking. The fit couldn't be better. The Colts' backfield lacks talent, and Bradshaw could easily take over lead-back duties from Vick Ballard. Bradshaw is perfect for OC Pep Hamilton's West Coast offense as a supreme blocker and pass catcher. We could hear something by the end of the night.

It could be a good deal, 1 year only I would think. Too much injury concern!

Cant hurt that's for sure, the more competition the better!

I wouldn't say surely, but I think his track record would bode to him being handed the #1 spot. Problem with Bradshaw though, is his durability. Has only played in one full season and only carried the ball 200+ times twice, which may force us to keep Brown around at least as insurance.

I definitely think this would be a huge upgrade to our backfield though, and would be stoked to sign him for a reasonable price.

I just don't see is paying Donald Brown $2.7m to be 3rd RB, 4th in some situations.(That's not even including Kerwynn Williams) Bradshaw, Ballard, Brown, Carter, Williams!

http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/indianapolis-colts/donald-brown/

We can save $1.7m by getting rid of Brown!

I think Williams would be the insurance back in that instance(4th back)!

I'd rather get rid of Carter, keep Brown and just let his contract expire after this year. We're still $5+ mil under the cap, and Werner will probably only cost between $1.5 and $2 million.

I think Williams will probably be relegated to KR and PR duties for his rookie year, and I have no faith that Bradshaw could stay healthy the entire year. I'm not saying I wouldn't cut him if it came down to it, just saying I'd think twice about it.

I don't have any faith in Bradshaw staying healty either, but Ive thought that Browns roster spot was in jeopardy before the thought of Bradshaw!

Guess only time will tell!

I like this addition, but I don't think Bradshaw replaces Brown I think he replaces Delone Carter. Carter is our short yardage back which Bradshaw would easily take over as well as passing downs. Now I don't think Brown is a lock to make the club with the addition but as mentioned the Colts aren't looking to gain the extra cap space afforded by cutting Brown.

Could be the case, I just don't see any reason to get rid of Carter, he is only owed 700k avg the next 2 seasons!

Getting rid of Donald Brown pays for that plus 300k!

Not that we need to clear that much cap space, but I really don't see us keeping 5 RB's when the season starts!(could be Carter/Brown)! Just think the latter makes a little more sense!

I could see us holding on to everyone through training camp though in case of injuries!

Football season cant get here quick enough at this point!

I definitely think we should hold on to all of them just in case. My only real issue with Carter is the fumble issue he has had in the past.

I agree, but he fits Pagano's pound it style back, fumbling can be coached! Bradshaw has had some fumbling problems as well!

But, yeah I think they all stay until end of training camp/mid preseason, in case someone gets hurt!

Interesting stat: @PFF graded Vick Ballard 42nd in pass blocking among 59 qualifying RBs last season. They had Ahmad Bradshaw 1st overall.

Great signing. We cut Denodus O'Bryant to make room. Would've rather but Megget, but w/e.
