moving forward, I see him as a top 5 ILB. Obviously not just yet, his rookie season behind him, but in a year or three, I think that's where his place will rest. Too much speed, too smart, too athetlic to be overlooked much longer.

If he plateaus this year, he's still a great player, but probably top 10 or 12 on a good day. If he builds on his rookie season at all, he's top 5 to 7.

I can easily see him as a Daryl Washington like player, who I believe to be the second best ILB in the league.

ok, and that's what I see, without any possiblity of 'homer goggles' so that makes sense.

Wagner definitely has the talent and has shown enough on the field that he could indeed grow into a Top-5 ILB.

Like SoS I see him panning out similarly to Daryl Washington.

I try my best to be objective about these things, I really do Laughing But Wagner displayed some serious ability in a rookie season where he was asked to take on a lot of responsibility. From here I believe he can hone in on developing physically and mentally without really having to pick the game up anymore. We should see a guy playing a lot more free.

I think we'll see a good bit more of him making plays outside the box. MLB is a position with so much going on, the first bit playing it at a new level everything seems fast. Things will start to slow down for him this year.
