Thing is though, our O wasn't on fire under Hue. It was rocks or diamonds.

Dropped 59 and 39 on the Donkeys, 33 on Seattle, 35 (although two blocked punts gave us 12 points in this one) and 28 on the Dolts, 31 on the Jags and Chiefs.

Also held to 13 by the Titans, 16 by the Rams (who had one of the leagues worst D's that year) 9 by the 9ers, 3 by the Steelers, 10 offensive points by the Fins (KR for TD by Ford).

The O was good that year no doubt, but it also had enough games where it struggled to move the ball.

A principle to live by..

If I recall correctly, we had some putrid QB play during a few of those games. JCam stunk vs STL so we had Gradkowski off the bench. Gradkowski was pretty terrible vs miami too. The Titans jumped the snap count all game and McFadden was a workhorse that day. Don't remember the whiners or Steelers games though. We probably did get dominated in them.

2012 Statistics

Teams with 30 passing TDs

Saints
Patriots
Broncos
Falcons
Green Bay

Cowboys at 29
Seahawks at 27
Bengals at 28
Steelers at 27

4 teams with 1500 yard rushers

Vikings
Redskins
Seahawks
Chiefs

Closest teams were Redskins with 24 passing TD's and 1600 yards by Morris and Seahawks with 27 passing TD's and Lynch rushing for 1600 yards. Both teams were playoff caliber teams.

Redskins and Seahawks were 10-6 and 11-5 respectively, both with better defenses then ours looks to be in 2013. So i'd say 9-7 would seem pretty accurate.
