Lets just say McFadden stays healthy for once and moves the chains. Our young wide outs develop and Flynn actually plays up to his potential he showed in Green Bay. How good would our team be if this occurs, or would we still suck regardless of how these two fare?

I know this is not realistic. I'm just dreamer, but I know I'm not the only one.

Actually that's an intriguing thing to think about. How would this team do with a good QB and a great RB on the team. Would that be enough to carry the team to 9+ wins? I think it still depends on how our defense shapes up. While we have consistency in the coaching staff the personnel has changed in its entirety, being the functional equivalent of an overhaul of the defensive staff. So it's hard to believe they're going to be great this year. But if our offense only has 2 great pieces, our defense is going to need to be great in order for this team as a whole to be a playoff team, IMO.

We're scoring alot of points, and I mean alot, if both passing and running clicks like that. And the offense would be straight controlling games. So yeah, I think we would be a winner if that happened.

You're talking about run AND pass being exceptional. Maybe 5 teams in the league operate that well on offense in a given year, and I'd bet all of them are in the playoffs or close.

A huge stretch. Huge.

Who knew John Lennon was a Raider fan?

We'd obviously be a great team offensively, I mean like the Saints were a, few years back. I feel DMC will have a year similar to the one asked about and then cash in big in free agency (hopefully not here...). Dead serious, I expect him to have everyone in the football world saying he might be the best back......I won't be fooled by his immense talent as I know he's fragile.

Flynn on the other hand won't get close to 30 imo.

Would be an amazing season to watch if both clicked like that though. I mean, it'd be like I'm in the 4th grade again! It's been that long Sad

Why stop at 30 passing TDs if you're going to dream?

Healthy McFadden running in the PBS, efficient QB who moves the chains and doesn't turn the ball over, and WRs who get open and hold onto the ball means our defense doesn't see the field too much. However, I don't see all of those pieces falling into place like that. Whether it be from injury, non-progress, or any other reason, I see one of those units holding our offense back this year. Thats not to say I expect us to have a really bad offense, but I dont see it being as good as it could be with the players we have.

If our O-Line gels and DMC gets 12-14 healthy games i could see us being top 15 in scoring whilst being a top 10 turnover limiting team. Will that be enough to win.more than5 though? I doubt it with this D.

Should have been done last season. Its a shame we never saw Palmer and McFadden play together in a PBS, vertical attacking offense. Instead we got Knapp time.

It's possible this season if Flynn proves to be a good QB and Olsen a good OC. Doubtful though.

Winning Season with the Playoffs...
If every player had their best season, then we'd be good, but hitting on all cylinders is rare.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that we would be a championship caliber team Wink Laughing
