It's a long wait between April and August and the forum is already dying down a lot (le sigh). I did this once before and it was somewhat successful, so, here we are. Ask me anything football-related and I'll give my honest thoughts. Gif usage at a minimum. I pwomise.

Slight copout, but the 2008 NFL Draft as a whole. IIRC we entered with 13 draft picks and left with just 5. We traded the majority of our selections for Derrick Harvey (considered a reach as well) and Quentin Groves. Nobody in that draft did anything for us and it was a huge reason why 2008 and the subsequent years were such failures. If I have to pick just one, it's the Derrick Harvey trade, but that entire draft was about as catastrophic as it can get.

I know your most underrated in team history would be Garrard, but who would you have as the most overrated? I've got two defensive players on my radar for this.

Also, no spin, no "this is what could happen," what do you think Gabbert will do this season?

2016. Who is better: King Cecil or B14ckmon?

In pure terms of what they are considered and what they actually were, my first thought is John Henderson. Tremendous player in his Pro Bowl years, but after that his Pro Bowl caliber status seemed to be a go-to by many even though his play never really got back to that level. Don't get me wrong, he was a great player, but his inconsistency is often overlooked as well as how much he fell off without Marcus Stroud next to him. It seems that we overvalued John Henderson's timeframe and undervalued Marcus Stroud's as Stroud remained effective for a few more years in Buffalo.

I don't usually try to spin things, but I do try to word things in a certain manner to where I'm not necessarily taking a side or speaking in definite terms (though on the internet/moments of laziness, I'm ineffective at this). I do think Gabbert improves (I'm not talking about marginal improvement, I'm talking about "QB is no longer a round one priority" improvement) and I think we pick in the 11-20 range next season. I think he finally has the right guys around him - coaches and players - and he has the competitive drive, desire, and natural intelligence to take the type of leap we often see from players, especially skill position players, in year three.

Optimistic? I don't think so because I don't have much faith that it will happen, but that doesn't change that it is indeed what I believe will happen.

Kind Cecil is king for a reason. It shouldn't be much of a debate at this point in time though many casuals on the outside seem to think B14ckmon is better right now.

I'd probably go with Kevin Hardy.

Kevin Hardy is a good choice too. I can't remember who or where, but I remember sometime in the last couple years seeing a Daryl Smith vs Kevin Hardy debate... no, just no. Daryl is (was?) so much better than Hardy ever was.

As of right now in no particular order, who are the top 5 QBs currently in the league, in terms of arm strength?
