That looks pretty decent. If the contract leaves us 2 million or so of room so we can sign a veteran 4th LBer on top of the cash you need for emergency transactions, that would be great.

Umenyiora / Seymour / Babineaux / Abraham = SCARY! I'm never going to get over not re-signing Abe unless we win the Super Bowl.

don't believe everything from the major networks. They did the same thing before the Umenyiora signing.

I think he'll end up in Atlanta sometime in early June. I hope some team doesn't jump in before then because right now the Falcons don't have the cap to get him.

Exactly. We haven't even signed Des/Alford yet right?

Richard lives in Atlanta so I think this is gonna happen for sure we could really use him in there to tighten our run defense up and please put Jerry's job on the line maybe he will change into that first round pick player Dimitroff drafted!

Agreed. That would be scary on passing downs.

I'd love to see this "at the right price". Seymour is used to getting paid a lot. Hopefully he'll take a price cut to join a contending team near home.

We won't have a ton of cap space, even after June 1 so I guess it can't be too financially constraining. Although I guess they can sign Matt Ryan to a new contract and get some more cap relief for 2013.

As long as he passes a physical, I think he would be a great addition. The hamstring from last year and the knees are a bit of a concern. But when he's been on the field, he still seems to be a force. Age hasn't caught up with him quite yet.

Hellooooooooo to my fellow ATLiens.. it's been a good minute since I've been here on FF. Hope all is well with everyone..

now on the topic.. TD, Smitty - Bring this man in! He is versatile and could lineup anywhere we would need him on the line, he's a vet with Superbowl experience, very high football IQ, and when healthy over the last 2 or so seasons out in Oakland he still has the strength and athleticism that he needs to be able to play his game. Man is from South Carolina, and is a Bulldog.. bring him back home. Something like either his stepson, or nephew or somebody like that is going to be a freshman in Athens this season and he would like to be close as possible so he could catch some games and show his face around the UGA program.. get this man his red and black jersey already and call it a damn day!
