Schefter and Mort were just discussing this on NFL32. Schefter said that he has heard some positive reports on Sanchez. Mort said he hurt some mixed reports, but Sanchez will be the starter.

the fact that this is decided already all from non-contact practices has me heated

It's not. It's just pretty clear that Sanchez is ahead at this point. They won't announce until TC or after the preseason begins.

I'm not even worried about the QB battle anymore. I'm worried about how bad our WR's look right now. If they can't catch, Arron Rodgers won't be able to save us. Maybe it's still possible for Braylon to be brought back if Sims-Walker is not worthy of signing.

I haven't heard much about our safety play.

It's not like we sign Sims-Walker to be a starter for us. I don't think anyone expects him to be ahead of Holmes, Kerley, Hill, Obomanu, or even Rogers.

I mentioned sims walker because he is only trying out, so if he don't make it there will be a open spot for another FA like Braylon. But if Sims was anything like he use to be, he will be ahead of Rogers and Obomanu. Hill just can't catch at all.

Nothing should be clear right now, nothing

The winner should be decided after the preseason, Sanchez [inappropriate/removed] the bed then gets another pass again and this team expects to go anywhere but down its just dumb

Not true. Sanchez even had a drill named after him.
Oh wait it was on how to not fumble as an NFL QB. Shocked

I have no faith in Hill. I think he'll be out of the league in a few years.

Not a lot of notes from today.

Quote:
@KristianRDyer 37m
If I had to guess, Jets will sign Kellen Winslow. To make room for him, I see Vidal Hazelton as a possible cut.

Quote:
@BrianCoz 43m
Winslow said he has not heard anything yet from Jets about contract. He did take and pass a physical.

Quote:
@RichCimini 48m
Geno Smith attempts to clarify Jets West Gate. Says he wasn't sure what it was, hadn't received invite. Plans to go if invited. #Jets

Quote:
@KMart_LI 1h
Aaron Berry picks up second INT of the day. Tipped Geno pass intended for Vidal Hazleton during 2min drill #jets #nyj
(worked as a #1 CB)

Quote:
@RichCimini 2h
Geno Smith is hot today. Throwing well indoors, especially in 7 on 7. #Jets

Quote:
@KMart_LI 2h
Joe Collins just pulled up on a deep Sanchez pass. Limping afterward #nyj #jets

Quote:
@BrianCoz 2h
Sanchez did not attempt a pass during first 11 on 11 period. New game plan.

Quote:
@RichCimini 2h
Geno Smith to Hill for about 50 yards. One of the best plays of minicamp. Terrific throw. #Jets

Quote:
@JamesCostanzo 2h
CB Antonio Cromartie was excused from today's minicamp for personal reasons. Not injury related. #nyj

Quote:
‏@Cnimbley 2h
Dee Milliner participating in drills, we also have a Clyde Gates sighting for whatever that's worth

We have to sign Winslow.

I agree, Winslow deserves a contract. Obviously, can't be much more than vet minimum, but he should still get a chance here.

Aaron Berry is a guy I've been wanting to hear about. He is really, really talented, and could play a much larger role than people realize this season.

Great to hear Smith looked good today. Even better to hear Smith and Hill had a couple good ones.

I like Hill a lot. I hope is is giving his all doing side work on his catching.
If the drops stop he could have an excellent year (stating the obvious)

That's what Broncos fans said about Demayrius after year one too.

I'm mad about Hill's overall performance. Every time I looked up, I seen a tweet from a reporter about him dropping a pass. I'm still hoping he shows some type of improvement.

It's way too early to say anything about Hill, everyone knew coming in that he was raw and that the learning curve was going to be huge; and then people act like they're surprised when he plays like garbage.

What a joke.

Not really. Running routes and blocking are teachable. Catching the ball he should have down by now. He hopefully is catching hundreds of balls a day.
Hmm sounds like a Dan joke- in a way Wink
