I'm not implying anything. Just posting this here. I wonder what the excuses would be if he were a Raider Smile

I can't even tell what's going on there.

He's rolling a note in the toilets....

Warren Sapp.... smh

Tipping seems like such a big deal in the States. Here in the UK, if someone sucks at their job, they don't get a tip, but I've heard people over there basically say they'll always give a tip, no matter the situation.

Maybe she didn't suck at her job, and Sapp was just being Sapp, but I don't mind him not giving a tip if she was terrible. And trust me, defending Sapp about anything is painful. Laughing

How much waitress make in the uk. Here in the us the only way servers make enough money to live is through tips.

Well, at least minimum wage, which should be enough to live on. Currently it stands at 6.31 an hour, which is about $10 or $11. And that's without tips.

What's the min in the US? I'd guess either your minimum wage must be a lot lower, or waitresses don't get paid it, if any are struggling to live on that?

The bolded is a philosophical debate raging in our political system right now as generally it was assumed that minimum wage jobs were meant for youths to have spending money not to sustain a family, given the current landscape of our economy adults are now attempting to build a life for their families on a minimum wage.

If you are visiting America and find lodging, food & services cheap please crack your wallet a bit for your server.

I'm very frustrated. I'm looking for UGA vs Tennessee 2013. Pay sites are OK. I can't find this game anywhere.

My family arrives from the states the same night so IDK if I can make it... although we did rent a flat 13 minutes from that bar so maybe I can swing it. We should get a tailgating party together.

When I'm down there I'll be visiting a couple of old friends I knew from school who now live in London, so I'd say it's unlikely I'll make any party the night before. Would definitely be up for some sort of tailgate meetup around Wembley, though!

How much did you guys pay for your tickets? The game is sold out and i won't be going but iirc, the prices were ridiculous.

My ticket was about 65 with an 8 booking fee (wish they'd just say the ticket was 73). Section 119 I think, so it's sideline, but down nearer the endzone (http://s3.amazonaws.com/readers/2011/05/08/wembley-seating-plan_1.jpg - ignore the prices on that obviously, graph for something else).

Cheapest tickets were high 20s/low 30s but were basically up in the sky.

I think I spent about 45 for our seats in BK 521, row 23.
